FLUSH END PUMP
ORIGINAL FEATURES
The feature of Flush End Pumps are
that the end caps are fitted flush with the outside of the barrel, enabling
the maximum size of pump to be used in a given size of bore. Pumping from
wells or shallow bores is the ideal application for the range of high
quality, economical Comet Flush End Pumps. Comet Pumps are quality hand-made
pumps for longer service. Pump construction of gun-metal bronze and leather
buckets ensures constant efficiency and exceptional pumping in hard waters at
total elevations of up to 200 feet.

SYPHON PUMPS
ORIGINAL FEATURES
The high grade Comet Syphon Pump has
proven itself eminently successful for pumping surface water, as from
creeks or dams, to any elevation. The advantage of a Syphon Pump is that
its barrel and bottom valve are immersed in water within the body casting,
which has the suction inlet in the side near its top. In the Comet Pumps
liberal water space is provided around the barrel to reduce flow friction
and to lengthen the period between primings.
