Adequate strength for complete safety

in storms is built into all Comet Windmill

Towers.  The 4-Post design and heavy

steel construction enable the Comet Tower

to stand solidly in 130km/h winds (90mph).

All tower parts are designed with a high

safety factor. A wide spread and 4-point

anchorage gives better stability and

more working room.  No matter how you

look at it 4-posts will always be stronger

than 3.

 

Comet Towers are made in heights from

The COMET Mill Head is often adapted to fit on to Southern Cross 3-Post Towers and other makes of 3-Post Towers. A list of the details required for the fitting of the mill head to an existing tower is needed to be filled out. Below is a basic Guideline.
